The University of Nottingham and Nottingham Trent University are joining forces through Universities for Nottingham to launch Green Impact – an internationally recognised sustainability programme, bringing staff and students together to take practical action on environmental issues and build a more sustainable Nottingham.
Delivered in partnership with Students Organising for Sustainability UK (SOS-UK), Green Impact supports teams to make positive changes across areas including energy, resources, travel and nature, while sharing ideas and good practice across both universities.
The programme will also give students opportunities to develop skills in project management, communications and leadership, while working alongside staff to support sustainability projects and lead team audits.
By working together, UoN and NTU can share knowledge, encourage action across both institutions and contribute to a more sustainable Nottingham and wider region.
Green Impact supports UoN and NTU’s sustainability ambitions and strengthens their shared commitment, through Universities for Nottingham, to creating positive change for the city and its communities.
