Universities for Nottingham is inviting community professionals and local leaders to help shape future research across Nottinghamshire through the Notts’ Voice in Research initiative.
Led by the Col(l)aboratory Research Hub, the project tackles complex challenges facing local communities. It ensures university research reflects real needs and lived experiences.
Participants will join a series of interactive workshops. These sessions build a shared understanding of the issues that matter most to people across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.
The priorities developed in these workshops will guide up to 15 new research projects, funded and delivered by the Col(l)aboratory Research Hub from April 2027.
In 2025, Notts’ Voice in Research brought together 32 local participants. Together, they identified six priority themes from 244 individual responses. These themes now underpin the latest round of research activity.
Community professionals who want to share their expertise and influence future research can learn more on the Col(l)aboratory website.
